HirokoKomiya; Object Sound, Percussion & Voice
A sound artist who transmutes theephemeral - air, space, movement, bodily sensation, and memory - into boundlesssonic expressions beyond conventional melody and rhythm. Since 1999, she hasbeen the principal musical collaborator for Atsushi Takenouchi's JINEN Butoh,and after relocating to Europe in 2002, has provided live accompaniment for hisperformances and workshops worldwide.
Her artistic reach extends beyondButoh, engaging in multidisciplinary collaborations with filmmakers, sculptors,painters, poets, costume designers, and performers for exhibitions andinstallations.In 2022, she performed an 11-hour tribute performance to FélixGuattari (French psychoanalyst and philosopher) in Paris, alongside RamuntchoMatta's art music collective and Atsushi Takenouchi. In 2021, she embarked on anew project with American film/sound artist Chris H. Lynn, creating audiovisualperformances with dancers that have been featured at prestigious venuesincluding Hybrid Butoh Vienna Art Festival 2022, Warsaw 2023, Barcelona 2023,Mexico 2024, Hong Kong 2024, Athens 2025.

Chris H.Lynn is afilmmaker, sound artist from the United States. His digital imagesand Super 8 films explore the subtle rhythms of movement, light, and sound inurban and rural landscapes that vary from the Eastern shores of Maryland, U.S.to Nanjing, China. Butoh dancers;
Atsushi Takenouchi
He began his journey in Butoh with the company "Hoppo-Butoh-ha" in Hokkaido in 1980. His final performance with the company, "Takazashiki" (1984), was developed under the guidance of Butoh founder Tatsumi Hijikata.In 1986, Takenouchi established his unique approach, "Jinen Butoh," which explores universal expressions of nature, earth, ancient times, and environments. His artistic journey has been deeply influenced by the universal spirit of Kazuo Ohno and Yoshito Ohno. Since 2002, Europe has served as his primary base, where he has developed numerous collaborative Butoh projects with dancers and actors.
Ero Ioku Nikaido
Independent artist based in Hong Kong. Ero currently mainly spends time in performing Solo Dance Theater, and create Performance Art piece.
Himeko Narumi
A Butoh dancer born in Hokkaido and currently based in Kyoto. She has been dancing at festivals both in Japan and internationally for over two decades. Along with her improvisation sessions with various musicians, she has recently been creating solo works and dance theater pieces under the name "Himeko Butoh Picture Scroll" (Himeko Butoh Emaki).
Arisa Hiura
Through her dance, she expresses the fundamental experiences of life - pain, suffering, and despair, as well as strength, resilience, and love. With unwavering determination, she channels her passion into conveying the sacredness of life and hope, offering her art as a prayer for all humanity.
