Report forest performance & Poznan workshop project 2012 May ポーランドツアー報告2012年5月

Fresh lime green summer started in May. We arrived Poland for 1 week Butoh project.
Adam Bernard Mickiewicz(1798-1855), he is a Polish poet, and a prime representative of the Polish Romantic period.He had been visiting quite often this village Smielowie and writing his poem at this house which became now his museum. Next to this palace, long promenade and beautiful garden following to the forest. This time, we were invited to perform at this garden in the forest.

新緑の美しい5月半ば、ポーランドにて一週間のプロジェクト。
18世紀から19世紀に生きたポーランドを代表する国民的ロマン派詩人、アダム・ベルナルト・ミツキェヴィチ（Adam Bernard Mickiewicz 1798-1855　）という詩人がいる。彼が創作によく訪れて滞在していた館が、ポズナンから車で一時間半ほどの小さな村Smielowieというところにある。　現在は、彼のミュージアムとなったこの洋館の建物の横に 森へとつづく美しい庭園がある。この庭園にて今回　舞踏公演を主催していただいた。　

Arrived the village, we took a walk around along the village and the forest.  Polish organizer Andzelika and Basia, and Andzelika's sweet children, and one Siberian Husky accompanied us for a walk.  This dog's name "Rarik" means  "energy " in Icelandic language. Said Mr.Olgierd, and continued " This dog has very gentle and beautiful heart. One day, he was lost and left alone in the forest. I cared and gave food and brought back to home. then we are always together everywhere. "  Olgierd is a grafic desiner and at the same time very good at cooking ! During this term, he cooked wonderful dinner for several time at project meeting. And Rarik also accompanied the dinner time with us.

私たちは、到着するとまず　この静かな小さな村を散策し、そして森を歩いた。散策につきそってくれたのは、今回この公演を主催してくれたオーガナイザーのAndzelikaとBasia。そしてAndzelikaのかわいい子どもたち。そして一匹のシベリアンハスキー犬、ラリック。”ラリック”とはアイスランド語で　”エネルギー”という意味だそうだ。　ラリックの飼い主オルギェー氏によると、”この子はとても穏やかで優しい。ある日僕が森を歩いていると、捨てられて孤独になっていた　ラリックがいた。傷を手当して、ご飯をあげるようになって、それからは僕たちはいつも一緒にいるんだよ。”と。オルギェー氏はグラフィックデザイナーでもあるが、料理の腕は格別。このプロジェクト期間中に　集まる機会には皆に素敵な料理をふるまってくれた。そしてやっぱりラリックも一緒に同伴していた。

Our performance started by the big old Oak tree in the forest. Surrounded by local village audience, and young children, we felt audience and performer and the forest became one with good concentration. Atsushi started his dance with walking from far in the woods with voice, and finally he danced through the audience and again disappeared into the other side of forest. Then little sweet twin angel followed him with running and running. It was like two butterfly dancing together. After dance, people came around the table of my instruments, and we enjoyed spontaneous music session in the green scenery.

公演は一本の大きな樫の木のそばで始まり、そして　村の人々があたたかく見守る中、観客の中のこどもたちにも囲まれて見る側と踊る側とが一体となった自然の中での公演となった。竹之内は林の奥から声とともにゆっくりと歩きはじめ、踊りとなった。やがて観客の中を通りすぎるようにはいっていったかと思うと最後にはまた　森の向こうへと踊りぬけた。観客の中から小さな双子の天使のような女の子二人が、踊り手を追いかけていった。まるで２匹の飛び交う蝶のようだった。ふっと観客にあたたかな笑みがこぼれやがて公演は終わった。公演後にもこどもたちは私の楽器セットのテーブルまわりに集まり、大人も子どもも一緒にしばし森の中での即興のセッションが始まったりもした。

Then we move to Poznan city, and one week butoh workshop project ended with final presentation of participants with deep energy. This time Butoh workshop was held with Polish, Hungarian, Swiss, Australian dancers/actors/ performers. This 7days were quite intensive time and also we felt it was concentrated with good energy and harmony between participants.  After 7hours workshop, we could spent the night with talking many things about theatre, music, journey, life, mythology, human, nature, rituals, ...etc.

そして、その後　ポズナンにて一週間舞踏講習会を行い最終日には熱のこもった発表公演を皆でできたと思う。 参加者はポーランド人、ハンガリー人、スイス人、オーストラリア人のダンサーや役者やパフォーマー。この７日間の舞踏講習会はかなりインテン シブなものであったと同時に、よい集中力と皆のハーモニーがよりそのワークを高めあったように感じられる。
そして講習会が終わった後も　私たちは、演劇のこと、音楽について、旅について、人生について、各地の神話やリチュアルについて、、、様々な話をしながら夜を過ごした。

Polish summer... though we normally often come this country in winter, it is really attractive fresh lime green summer. Last summer, I remember that I made concert tour in collaboration with Mr.Nagaya, musician/composer from Japan, at four cities in Poland. It was also hot hot summer.

 The air, the beauty of green, blight long summer evening,the view of eternal horizon from car window on the way during touring, these were really impressive and inspiring as meeting with many people and places. And we are already looking forward to coming back soon again to Poland.
       

夏のポーランド。　毎年、冬にくることの多いポーランドだが　やはり夏の新緑も素敵だ。
昨年は、そういえば7月にコラボコンサートで、日本の音楽家の長屋氏と一緒に４ヶ所をまわるポーランドツアーをさせていただいた。その時も暑い暑い夏の時期だった。

ポーランドの夏の空気、緑の美しさ、明るく長い夜、車窓から移動中にみえるどこまでも続く地平線は本当にきれいだった。
そしてまた　私たちは次回ポーランドに戻ってくるときを　すでにもう楽しみにしている。
